10th Annual Scooter Toy Run

Meet at 9am Sunday December 10th at Vespa Motorsport

‘Tis the season again, my friends.  It’s time to get decked out for the holidays, hop on your scooter and deliver Holiday Cheer to some of the sweetest kids in San Diego.

Vespa Motorsport along with the Vespa Club of San Diego will be hosting the 10th Annual Scooter Toy Run on Sunday, December 10th.  We’ll meet at Vespa Motorsport at 9am for waffles and then scoot in one massive group to the San Diego Center for Children.  Santa will escort the parade of scooters into the center where scooterists can enjoy their Wacky Wonky Wonderland.  This feel-good event has been gaining momentum each and every year and The Center for Children is really making it extra special this year by adding Live Music, Photo Booths, and Holiday Crafting activities.

To participate, please bring at least one unwrapped toy, see the center’s wishlist for gift suggestions. Donations can also be dropped off at Vespa Motorsport prior to the event.

Keeping with the traditional itinerary, Perry and the San Diego Scooter Squadron will be serving up his world-famous waffles and other breakfast goodies starting at 9:00 AM.  The suggested donation for all the waffles you can eat is $5.  Perry donates his time and culinary prowess, Vespa Motorsport buys the supplies, and the Center gets all the proceeds!  The ride will leave at 11:00 AM and arrive at the Center around noon.  Rain or Shine; we’ll be enjoying a ride through “America’s Finest Scootering City.”

We’ll also have our famous charity raffle for the San Diego Center for Children. One free ticket for each toy you bring; additional tickets will also be available. Lots of awesome prizes donated by our favorite vendors: Tipsy ElevesTorc Helmets, Western Powersports, Parts Unlimited, Brian Jones, and more.
Must be present to win.
